A small sample of the type of projects that our personnel have been involved in include:

Technical writing and editing – Salient Consulting has conducted research and written numerous reports on topics such as public health issues, obesity, tobacco use, alcohol strategies and illicit drug use.

Literature review and analysis – Having an in depth understanding of the health sector, Salient Consulting is able to provide efficient analysis of policy changes, implications for agencies and resources. One of the specialized projects we have completed included a review of clinical placements for the training of medical and allied health professionals. This included a review of how medical and allied health professionals are educated and have access to training in the clinical environment.

Literature review and analysis of the governance systems in place for the training and funding of places for medical and allied health professional trainees

Literature review of the effectiveness of games in teaching occupational health and safety messages – Salient Consulting has also worked in the area of Occupational Health and Safety. We conducted this literature review for a small agency that was seeking to ascertain the effectiveness of teaching methods that included gaming.

Review of the Anex Bulletin – We undertook and delivered a review of the national communications instrument reviewed for the Department of Health and Ageing and Anex.
