Salient Consulting is an agile consulting company that is passionate about the delivery of quality advice. We have a detailed understanding of government, health and community sectors and work with clients to provide them with accurate analysis, quality communications, and clear solutions. We also are able to provide technical expertise in the area of health care policy, funding, governance, legislation and services.

The Director of Salient Consulting is Liz Sutton. She established Salient Consulting in 2005 after working for fifteen years in the health and government services sectors. Liz could see that quality advice prepared by consultants with an in-depth understanding of the topic was critical for clients. To this end, she works with a skilled team that is configured based on the needs of each project.

Liz’s experience has equipped her well for management consulting and specialist writing services. Liz trained as a registered nurse in one of Australia’s largest teaching hospitals and then worked in critical care for a number of years. She has also worked with AusAID, the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Health Departments, statutory authorities including those involved in occupational health and safety, government committees and not for profit/community based organizations. She has held senior roles in a number of agencies and had responsibility for financially large projects as well as those with national coverage.

Following experience acquired as a Registered General Nurse (Div 1) Liz completed qualifications in Psychology, English, and then post graduate qualifications in Literature and Communication.

She will soon complete her Master of Arts on the use of pain assessment scales in clinical settings.
